Scholarships

In addition to university and college scholarships and awards, students may receive additional funds from the department or other organizations.

CE departmental scholarships

Due to generous donations from our honorable alumni and CE companies, the department disperses numerous endowed scholarship funds annually. Complete the K-State Scholarship Network application to be eligible.

CE undergraduate research assistantships

This initiative funds undergraduate research experiences in civil engineering laboratories. The assistantship provides up to $2,000 of support for a 10 hours/week semester-long appointment as an undergraduate research assistant (URA) in a CE research lab. URAs can reapply for a second semester of support from this initiative. Students who are traditionally under-represented in engineering (women and minorities) are strongly encouraged to apply. To apply, submit a cover letter, a statement of interest, and a resume electronically to the civil engineering office at ce@engg.k-state.edu. The application process will include an interview.
Deadline: April 15, Nov. 15
